Tristan Clay and Nick Hunter share overall victories in Zandvoort

- Second round of the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux delivers exciting races and changing conditions
- Nick Hunter and Belle Rappange highly successful with two class victories each

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux opened its season at Circuit Zolder, and just over a month later, drivers and teams headed to the Dutch North Sea coast for the second round, held at the iconic Circuit Zandvoort. Once again, three races were on the schedule: two pure sprint races and a short endurance race. Together, they provided excellent motorsport action and a variety of winners.

The weather played a significant role during the second round of the 2026 Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux, with a wet qualifying session, two sprint races on a drying track, and a dry but windy endurance race.

Nick Hunter takes another victory in Race 3 🏆

The final race of an action-packed day delivered plenty of excitement around the dunes, with Nick Hunter claiming a well-earned victory in the GT3 Cup class. Türkmen secured P2 after a strong performance, while Dobik rounded out the podium in P3.

In GT4 CS, Philipp Thomas came out on top to take the class win in P1. Belle Rappange continued her impressive form with another podium finish in P2, while Van der Poel completed the top three in P3.

Three fantastic races with close battles have flown by; Round 2 at Zandvoort is now in the books.

Hunter and Rappange take the win in Race 2 🏆

As the chequered flag was waved after the second race at Zandvoort, it is Hunter who takes the Overall victory, delivering a commanding performance to secure P1.

Türkmen follows behind in P2, while Dobik completes the podium with a P3 finish.

In GT4 CS, Belle Rappange again claims top honours with a class win and another impressive drive. Van der Poel takes P2, while Philipp Thomas rounds out the podium in P3.

The 25-minute races are done, now onto the 45-minute race. Stay tuned to our stories as the final race gets underway at 16:07 CEST.

Tristan Clay converts his Pole Position into victory at Circuit Zandvoort 🏆

With the rain gone and even some glimpses of sunshine breaking through, the track remained wet, creating tricky and evolving conditions for the drivers. Clay kept his composure throughout the race, leading from lights out to the chequered flag to secure yet another win. Behind him, Hunter brought home P2, while Türkmen completed the GT3 Cup podium in P3 after a close battle with Dobik in the final laps.

In the GT4 CS class, Belle Rappange delivered a flawless drive to take the class victory, overtaking polesitter Philipp Thomas, who finished in P2, while Van der Poel completed the podium in P3.

A soaking wet qualifying session at Circuit Zandvoort sets the stage for an exciting Round 2 🌧️

In GT3 Cup, Tristan Pierre Jonatan Clay claimed Pole Position in Qualifying 1 ahead of Nick Hunter and Levent Turkmen. Qualifying 2 saw Türkmen come out on top, with Hunter once again securing P2 and Ivan Dobik taking P3.

In GT4 CS, Philipp Thomas was the quickest in Qualifying 1, followed by Belle Rappange and Van der Poel. The tables turned in Qualifying 2 as Van der Poel secured Pole Position, with Rappange once again in P2 and Thomas completing the Top 3.

Qualifying is done. Next up: Race 1 at 11:29 CEST 🏁

Marco van Ramshorst joins the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux for a guest entry at Circuit Zandvoort!

Fresh off a class victory at this year’s Nürburgring 24 Hours, Marco is set to take on a new challenge as he joins the PSCB, behind the wheel of his trusted Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992.1) with Bonk Motorsport. Having competed in demanding events and championships such as the Nürburgring 24 Hours and the Porsche Endurance Trophy Nürburgring, the Dutch gentleman driver arrives in the PSCB ready to put his experience to good use.

Nick Hunter returns to the Porsche Sprint Challenge Benelux for a guest entry at the upcoming round in Zandvoort!

With a wealth of experience gained across various Porsche one-make championships, the gentleman driver is set to join Team GP Elite behind the wheel of the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992.1). A familiar face in Porsche racing, Nick is ready to put his experience to work as he takes on the iconic Zandvoort circuit once again.
