🌍🥋 A EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP FOR A GREAT CAUSE ❤️
In 2028, Belgium and Quaregnon will have the honour of welcoming the 53rd European Wadokai Championship.
But we want this European event to be about much more than karate and competition.
❤️ The championship will support Télévie.
For our friends and Wadokai families outside Belgium, Télévie is a major Belgian charity initiative supporting scientific research in the fight against cancer, including leukaemia and cancers affecting both children and adults.
Every year, Télévie brings together thousands of volunteers, associations, sports clubs, schools, companies and citizens who organise fundraising activities to help finance cancer research.
For us, the values of Wadokai — respect, courage, perseverance, solidarity and humanity — naturally belong alongside such a cause.
Our ambition is therefore to make the 53rd European Wadokai Championship 2028 in Quaregnon a truly special European gathering, with the profits generated by the event donated to Télévie.
