Beste deelnemers, supporters en paardenvrienden,
De wedstrijd die voor dit weekend gepland stond zal helaas niet door gaan.
De weersvoorspellingen laten aanhoudende, extreme hitte zien. Hoewel we ons enorm hadden verheugd op een sportief weekend, staat de veiligheid van paard en ruiter bij ons altijd op de eerste plaats. Het welzijn van het paard is voor ons simpelweg belangrijker dan deze wedstrijd. De risico's die de huidige temperaturen met zich meebrengen voor de gezondheid van de dieren zijn te groot, en die verantwoordelijkheid kunnen en willen wij niet nemen.
We hopen op jullie begrip voor deze moeilijke, maar noodzakelijke beslissing. Pas goed op jezelf en je dieren dit weekend, zoek de schaduw op en blijf koel!

C'est avec regret que nous vous informons que la compétition prévue ce week-end est annulée.
Les prévisions météorologiques annoncent une vague de chaleur extrême et persistante. Même si nous nous réjouissions à l'idée de passer un beau week-end sportif, la sécurité du cheval et du cavalier reste notre priorité absolue. Le bien-être du cheval est tout simplement plus important pour nous que cette compétition. Les risques que les températures actuelles font peser sur la santé des animaux sont trop grands, et nous ne pouvons ni ne voulons prendre cette responsabilité.
Nous comptons sur votre compréhension face à cette décision difficile mais nécessaire. Prenez bien soin de vous et de vos animaux ce week-end, restez à l'ombre et gardez la tête au frais !

Regrettably, the competition scheduled for this weekend has been canceled.
The weather forecast indicates persistent, extreme heat. Although we were greatly looking forward to a wonderful weekend of sport, the safety of both horse and rider always comes first for us. The welfare of the horse is simply more important to us than this competition. The risks that the current temperatures pose to the animals' health are too high, and we cannot and will not take that responsibility.
We hope for your understanding regarding this difficult but necessary decision. Take good care of yourself and your animals this weekend, stay in the shade, and keep cool!
