Open Dutch and Belgian Championship Indoor Skydiving 2026

Last weekend, Hybris competed in the national indoor championship. Despite limited training hours, we set ourselves an ambitious yet attainable goal: an average of 19 points, just above our previous average of 18.8.
We are very proud of the final result: place 6 out of 11 and an average of 20, which is our new personal best in the AAA category!

There is still a gap to close with the top teams, and we know exactly where we need to improve. In the words of Bram: "Over there, there's a door." All we have to do is keep pushing until we reach that door to the top.

In other news, 50% of Hybris joined an 8-way team that won gold in the open category (as the only contender, but winning is winning!). It was a fun and challenging experience, and a great test of discipline.

ISR Grand Prix 2025

Last weekend, the team competed at the ISR Grand Prix in the AAA division after winning AA last year.

Out of 13 teams, we finished in 7th place with an 18.8 average — a huge milestone for us. It was a real nail-biter from start to finish, with a proper fight between the 4th and the 8th spot throughout the competition. We’re incredibly proud of the progress we've made and the consistency we've showed. (We only made one bust!)

Thanks Jeroen Nollet for your valuable guidance, Ray Lodens for coaching us at the competition, Pascal Lodens for the pics and team Moorseleeeuh for the good vibes!

Next stop: BK Indoor in Liège — Time to go back into training mode!

BK Indoor Skydiving 2025

The team finished their first indoor championship in the AAA division better than expected.

Our first goal was to not finish last but we did one better and ended up on the 10th spot out of 12 teams ("In the top ten" sounds a lot better!)

Our second goal was a bit harder to reach, an average of 16. We almost made it with our 15.6.
Despite some errors we can be quite proud with the result as this was a very technical draw with lower averages on all teams. We have plenty of things to work on but it was eye opening to see where we're at as opposed to the experienced AAA flyers.

Jeroen Nollet guided us throughout the whole competition, without it we would be looking at a different result.
A wholehearthed THANKS A BUNCH from the whole team 🥳

The last preparations with the legendary Jeroen 'Bob' Nollet have been completed and tomorrow we are competing at the Belgian Championship indoor in Airspace. For the first time we are joining the AAA division, and we're really excited to see how it will play out.

Without pressure for any medal this time, we might just fly a little more relaxed, let's see!

🏆 Double victory in Double A 🏆

We're thrilled to share that we took home first place at both the ISR Grand Prix and LXF Cup Indoor competitions.

The journey to those victories was all but smooth—each competition taught us some lessons that we’ll carry forward as we start competing in the AAA division in 2025.

The ISR Grand Prix was a tough test for us. With 9 other teams in the mix, nerves and rustyness got the best of us in the first half. We hit a new record of 7 busts in the first round - something not to be proud of - and struggled to find our rhythm. But what makes a great team is resilience. Instead of letting the rough start define us, we refocused and found our flow in the second half of the competition. While it wasn’t our cleanest performance, we're still satisfied with the final result.

LXF Cup was a completely different story. After learning from ISR, we approached this competition with a calm mindset. We flew with control, focusing on consistency rather than speed. That approach worked in our favor, allowing us to take an early lead and maintain it throughout.

Looking Ahead:

From january 2025, we'll be back in training mode and focus on flying our B-slot and the AAA blocks. We know what we need to work on: clean, consistent and precise flying instead of rushing for points.

Next stop: the Belgian Championship in Airspace Indoor Skydiving
