The race from Barcelona (1096km) is several weeks behind us now.
A race where we can again be proud of our team of pigeons.
28 pigeons were at the start and there are no less than 19/28 pigeons on the national result, provincially 18/28. A result which we could only dream of before. When you have 1st and 2nd assinged pigeons early in the prizes, it tastes even sweeter.

Nationally against 6310 pigeons we won 12x 1:10 with:
34 - 81 (1st signed) - 163 (2nd signed) - 322 - 327 - 329 - 381 - 446 - 468 - 565 - 593 - 614 - ....
For 1st signed it was her 3rd participation to Barcelona and for 2nd signed the 4th participation, they won each time at least 1:10.

See the pictures and the rankings for the ace pigeons calculated by P**A in the 3-year ranking and the 4-year ranking.

We won 2nd nationale ace Barcelona 3y ranking with "Het Dakzitterke" and 6th national ace Barcelona 4y ranking with "De Rooie 706"

If you want to achieve something in pigeon sport, and more specific on the extreme long distance flight Barcelona (1100km), you have to dare to invest.
Does it give a guarantee? No far from, but if there are so many toppers in 1 pedigree you do have a bit more chance seems to me.
So yesterday at the auction of Gouden Vleugel - Brugse Barcelona Club on P**A we bought a pigeon with the best Barcelona blood in its pedigree.
In this pedigree a.o.:

"Invictus": 1st European ace Marathon 2015
"Quatro 4" : 1st international ace Barcelona-Perpignan 2013-2014
1st international ace Barcelona-Perpignan 2013-2015
