The first race of the UIM Pleasure Navigation World Championships in Malta is now over.
We look back on this experience in Malta with mixed feelings. It was a fantastic event; thank you VOOMQUEST
After testing a few propellers and searching for the right balance – which we hadn’t quite got 100% right yet – we did feel confident going into the start of the first race.
After an incredible start in the first race on some pretty rough seas, we had to pull out due to propulsion problems.
Unfortunately, that was the end of the weekend.
Thank you everyone for your help and support.
On to the second race in Blankenberge, Belgium!
We would like to thank the Maltese team, and especially, Michael Xuereb for their hospitality. Thank you very much!
