When I first saw photos of Lake Koman, I thought: no way this is Europe.
It looked like Thailand. Norway. Somewhere way harder to reach. But nope — it’s Albania. And barely anyone’s talking about it. I took the through the Albanian Alps, and for two hours, I just stared.
No music. No scrolling. Just cliffs so steep they blocked the signal — and maybe that was the point.
Because for a while, it was just me, the water, and this moment I never wanted to end.
No tour groups. No big hotels. No filters.
Just one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.
