2nd T20 Match:

Weather: Windy conditions 🌬️
Toss: PCCB won and elected to bat. 🏏

Bowling Highlights: Khalid took a wicket in the first over. PCCB struggled in the powerplay, ending with approx. 30+ runs in 6 overs, losing 2 wickets. KWCC bowlers did well in the middle, but PCCB counter-attacked with vital boundaries, ending up with 136-8 in 20 overs. Amer Bhai and Farhad took 2 wickets each. 💪

Chase: KWCC's 2nd innings started poorly with Farmal losing his wicket on the first ball. The skipper made use of the powerplay, scoring 20+ runs before getting out, ensuring a strong start for KWCC. Amir Bhai rose to the occasion, adding valuable 39 runs. PCCB bowled tight lines, taking the game to the last over. KWCC needed 6 runs in the final over, and Assad ensured victory with an unbeaten 22. 🏆

🏏 Match Recap this weekend vs AICC in Kortrijk 🏏

AICC won the toss and elected to bat first. Asaf and Waqar started with the new ball and they indeed let the ball talk! 🎯 AICC came back strong after losing 3 wickets for 18 runs in 10 overs, with Naman scoring a much-needed 50. AICC were 91-4. Assad had other plans, launching a counter-attack and taking 4 wickets in an over! AICC ended their innings at 134 all out.

The Warriors didn’t start well, losing 2 quick wickets at 14-2. The field was heated with great noise and intense conversations. AICC tried to defend the target with everything they had. However, the Warriors held their nerves with Farmal and Aamad Ali putting up a 50-run partnership, Yasin hitting some boundaries, and Assad, the man of steel nerves, putting the Warriors over the line in 30 overs. Warriors won the game! 🎉🏆

🏏 Match Recap vs 12 stars in Antwerp🏏

After a break, the Warriors faced a must-win game against 12 Stars to stay in the division. Losing the toss, we bowled first, with 12 Stars ending their innings at 209 runs.

The Kortrijk Warriors had a big challenge ahead. Our batting hadn’t been clicking before, but we came back with a bang! 💥 Waqar and the skipper gave an explosive start, scoring 70 in just 6 overs. Waqar tried to hit over the fence but got caught, while the skipper scored a vital 63, putting us in a winning position. Great partnerships from Hasnain, Farmal, Assad, and Zeshan finished the innings in style. The Warriors won the match by 5 wickets! 🎉🏆

🏏 Weekend Recap: Kortrijk Warriors vs. BGCC 3 🏆

After losing the toss, the Kortrijk Warriors faced challenging conditions with bad bowling and sloppy fielding. Despite rain interruptions, the game was reduced to 45 overs. Meanwhile, BGCC 3 steadily built a formidable target of 257 runs. Another rain interruption further reduced the overs, leaving Kortrijk with a challenging total of 239 runs in 40 overs.

In the chase, Kortrijk stumbled early, but Waqar and Farmal had other plans. Their 150+ partnership was a treat to watch. Waqar achieved his maiden century, while Farmal notched his first 50 in Belgium. Kortrijk chased down the total in just 33.5 overs, securing victory by 6 wickets.

🌟 Weekend Recap for the Warriors! 🌟

Saturday: The Warriors took off to Antwerp to play against the Brussel Strikers. Winning the toss, we elected to bat first. 🏏

We put up a solid 257 runs on the board with top performances by Farhad (48), Waqar (48), and Sulaiman (43). 💪

Our bowlers did a fantastic job, restricting the Brussel Strikers to 160 runs. Farhad led the pack with 3 wickets. 🎯

Man of the Match: Farhad! 🏆

Sunday: The first team faced Mechelen in a comeback match. We started poorly, at 60 runs for 5 wickets. 😬

Arslan took responsibility, holding the innings from one side, while Farhad played a crucial role. They scored 31 and 29 respectively. The tailenders chipped in with handy runs, ending the innings at 179 runs. 👏

In the second innings, the Warriors were pumped up to beat the group toppers. Asaf, our star bowler, took 2 quick wickets, giving Mechelen a hard time. Our bowlers restricted the visitors to 150 runs, winning by 30 runs. Asif and Yasin both took 3 wickets, with Farhad taking 2 wickets in 1 over. 🔥

🎉 De Kortrijk Warriors hebben het weer geflikt! Een hattrick van overwinningen, en dat hebben ze goed gedaan. Vooral Zeshan en Aadil hebben zich bewezen. Wat een mooi moment om de Kortrijk Warriors op de kaart te zetten en te laten zien dat ze nog veel meer in petto hebben! 💪
