Dear members of FGTCK,
It is with a very heavy heart that I must inform you that our former Honbu Dojo will be demolished due to the ongoing structural problems with the building.
This has been an extremely difficult decision. The former Honbu Dojo is much more than a building: it is a place filled with memories, friendship, hard work, and the spirit of our founder, Hanshi Jhonny Bernaschewice. It was the heart and home of our federation for many years, which makes saying goodbye incredibly painful.
Unfortunately, the continuing construction issues leave no realistic alternative. Taking this step is the only way for us to move forward and create a safe and sustainable future for FGTCK.
At the same time, our journey continues. Our new Honbu Dojo is already in use and is located in the sports hall in Eksel. It provides us with a safe place where we can continue to train, grow, and come together as a Budo family.
Although we will lose the former building, we will not lose what it represents. Its spirit lives on in our members, our friendships, our training, and in everything Bernaschewice taught us. Together, we will continue his path and build a new chapter for our federation.
