Het Lobroek is a stable/sister company of ESHA, consisting of a young team of enthusiastic horse lovers whose goal is to promote and compete with homebred horses. Our team includes some key members, such as the Norwegian rider Emely Karoline Paulsen, who has gained extensive experience over the years at international sport and trading stables and has specialized in training and competing young hor
ses. The driving force behind ESHA is also the motivator behind Lobroek Stallions; Dennis Swennen, horse man at heart and inspired by entrepreneurship. Additionally, we have our marketing specialist Elke Thys, who is passionate about horses and focuses primarily on photography and filming to promote all our horses. And, of course, the families and volunteers who are always ready to help us and love coming together to enjoy the horses. Driven by our shared passion, we have decided to start a stallion station alongside our daily activities at the stable and the co-organization of the ESHA auction. As people have come to expect from us, we dare to take a slightly different approach than traditional stallion owners. We prefer to first assess and experience what a horse can do, how it behaves, and its conformation before we even look at its passport. A good horse for the future is not just a famous pedigree that has been overused but is about believing in talent passed on by talented mothers and fathers. While genetics are undoubtedly important, introducing new blood into modern breeding may become even more essential.
