One of the hardest parts of insomnia for me wasn't the exhaustion.
It was the loneliness.
Lying awake while the rest of the world seemed asleep, I began to wonder if something was wrong with me. And I know many people who struggle with sleep feel the same way.
What I've come to believe is that insomnia is rarely a sign that we are broken.
More often, it's a message.
An invitation to listen more deeply to what our body, mind, and nervous system may be trying to tell us 🌿
