The results of the Company cup 2024/2025 are in!

First of all a big congrats to JBR events, Commerce 82 and Fabourg racing team for finishing top 3

For us it was a big learning curve since there were a lot of first times. First time with a new team, first time with communication. We had to adjust to everything as a team and see what works for who and how.

But we had so much fun and enjoyed every bit of the season even with the down moments. And that's the most important thing is that we have fun.

The pack was so close on each other that there was no room for error. One off day could set you back a few places while one good day could make up for everything. This is the first time I felt the whole group had the same potential well aside from the top field then. We fought or way thru which made us end on position 13 out of the 24 teams.

Results are in and the groups are made. We ended up in group 2/3 with 23 other teams. A total of 70 teams compete in this companycup.

With a small change in the point system will make a very compact group even more fun to fight for position.

Next race will be on wednesday 06/11

Yesterday it was the first race of a new season CompanyCup at Worldkarts - Kortrijk

Together with 44 other teams we had a blast. Two sessions of qualifying to filter the teams into as equal possible groups.

Qualifying 8th sets us into final A where we eventually started and ended on position 13th during the race.

Today group one will be racing and after that the official groups will be formed based on the results of race 1.

The upcoming week is the start of a new season of CompanyCup 2024/2025 at WorldKarts Kortrijk. Since last year we made some huge changes..

After Jentel Peene joined our team Karting Unites Racing we sat together with Tim Spaens and myself (Kenny Van Pottelberghe). That discussion led to the point of us directing the team into a new adventure. Starting with a name change to VPSP Racing branding each of the main drivers in the team name with our last name.

But I’m proud to announce we have our first sponsor Breugelhof!

Breugelhof is a beer cafe located across the train station at Merelbeke. Offering a very wide range of different beers it is the place to beer and discover and enjoy a cold drink and bite.

The try out has proven this season will again contain a lot of fun and some nice competitions.

KartingUnites Racing was made out of our friends group to participate the somewhat more ‘serious’ races. The name itself was not bad but was more of an easy choice. Now with the new name and logo we want to try and approach this with some more professionalism. But we will stay an amature team with a competitive mindset.

We are still wandering on a path not knowing what we can achieve or where we will stand. What we do know is that we love karting and enjoy every second of it. All three of us have the same desire to win although we get our enjoyment in learning to beat ourselves. When someone finishes ahead of you don’t get frustrated. But see that as a lesson on where you can learn. Use that knowledge to become a better driver, that’s also part of the fun in racing!
