SC Bousval-Genappe 🆚 LXG 50 2-5

We finish our season with the first trophy of our amazing club since reaching the 1st division back in 2012! 🏆🙌

Great performance in Genappe against a motivated and quality team with strong support from the stands, but our supporters were definitely up to the task too. A big thank you to them! 🙏

We dedicate this to the group of boys who enjoyed playing football in the park and, 23 years ago, decided to form a club which has lasted since then. ⭐️

Let it be the first of many!

RCS Azur 🆚 LXG 50 2:1

In the end it's Azur that sn**ch the title in the last round of the ABSSA league.

Despite a slow start, we had the majority of chances and only a bit of luck made the difference between winning and losing the trophy.

That said, congratulations to Azur and a big thanks to all the fans who came to support us. We showed the unity of the LXG family and it was truly an amazing match to be part of.

In the end, we manage to achieve the highest ever league finish in the history of our club and the most points scored in a single season. If we keep the same commitment and motivation in the next season, we'll surely play a major role again. And what a journey compared to the previous season when we needed a win in the last round to avoid relegation.

But our season is not yet finished! Now it's time to turn our attention to the Cup and continue writing history.

⚽ABSSA Cup 1/2 final (03.05.2025)⚽
LXG 50 🆚 RCS Azur 1:4

Last Saturday (03.05) officially put an end to our 2024/2025 season after losing 1:4 against .azur.

It was always going to be a difficult game and Azur proved to be the better team on the day. Nonetheless proud of the fight we put in and in reality the game was much closer than the result implies.

We end a season of ups and (a lot of) downs with our heads up. Now it's time to draw the lessons to help us take the direction we want, which is to get back where we belong - fighting at the top. ⬆

LXG 50 🆚 AS Wong 0:0 (6:5 on penalties)

We qualify for the 1/2 final on penalties! 💪

An unsurprisingly difficult game against a tough opponent, but we showed better nerves to come out on top in the end. ❄❄❄

One step closer to achieving our objective.✨

After victories away to Celtic Roosters 5:4 (we did it first before Man Utd - Lyon btw) and at home to Besace RFC 3:0, next Saturday (26.04) we face Wong in the 1/4 finals.⚽

Job done in the final round of the ABSSA 2024/2025 season. 💪

Not in the position we wanted to be before the start of this season but proud of the boys who delivered when pressure was on. 🔥

Now it's time to bring the momentum to the cup competition and still make this season one to remember.✨

A crucial victory away in the last round against Chenois SC. ⭐

We managed to get the job done, with our new signing Dario shining with a goal, an assist, and a MOTM performance. 👌

Considering the results of the other teams around us in the league table, a box office final round is guaranteed next week so grab your popcorn. 🍿

We face Portugal at home, while New Arquois plays away to Coin du Balai. Can't get more dramatic than that. 🥁
