"A martial master does not abandon his students, students abandon him, why?
Evolution and detachment.
A master never abandons his students, but the pedagogical relationship has a natural dynamic in which the student can choose or be forced to withdraw. This separation is not an automatic betrayal, but the result of structural, psychological or evolutionary factors that many practitioners mismanage.
Exhaustion of technical and spiritual compatibility.
The relationship between a Martial Master and a student in martial arts works up to a certain threshold level. When the student reaches a ceiling that the master can no longer overcome with his own style or method, or when the visions of karate become divergent, distance becomes inevitable.
Lack of loyalty to principles.
Many practitioners seek quick benefits, easily obtained degrees or external validation. When the master maintains a rigorous line, based on hard work and sacrifice without shortcuts, the weak-character student prefers the comfort of the mediocre and leaves.
The inflated ego of the student.
Once they achieve a black belt or a minor status as an instructor, some students develop the illusion of total autonomy and sufficiency. Pride prevents them from accepting corrections, leading them to isolate themselves or open their own structures prematurely.
Changing life priorities.
Daily pressures, family, career or geographical relocation brutally intervene in the martial process. Students who have not understood that Budo is a way of life, and not a simple weekend hobby, give in to the first major logistical obstacle.
If a student leaves you, first check whether you have not tolerated compromises that have atrophied their character or if you have not stopped their evolution through their own stagnation.
A true master does not mourn the departure of the weak, but constantly sorts his energy for those who remain to burn on the same path!"
