What if the person you blame the most... is actually one of your greatest teachers?
One of the most powerful exercises I’ve ever done is writing this effective blaming letter.
It heals old wounds and frees yourself.
Here’s how it works:
1. First, write down everything you’ve been blaming that person for.
2. Then thank them for the role they’ve played in your life, even if it was painful.
3. Forgive them. Not because what happened was okay, but because you’re ready to stop carrying the weight.
4. Finally, blame them effectively: for the lessons they taught you, the strengths they built in you, and the person you’ve become because of them.
The goal isn’t to rewrite the past.
It’s to rewrite the meaning you give it.
Because the moment someone stops being the villain in your story... they can become one of the reasons you grew.
Who taught you one of your biggest life lessons... without ever meaning to? 🌱
