Another function has been added to DiveNice: a public chat space (no private posts).
In title of promotion, I do offer 10 free accounts (1 year) to those who send me a private message (not via Facebook, go to look for my private email) and mention me 3 diving federations. The 10 first get one year of free use of DiveNice. I'm curious!

For the attentive DiveNice visitor... it ssems at first sight "Zeeland" disappeared from the regions, but this is not reflecting the reality. Because we want to develop the Netherlands further with diving locations outside "Zeeland", we had to classify this country differently. Zeeland (and its islands) became a part of the Netherlands. No information has been removed.

Omdat DiveNice langzaamaan is uitgegroeid tot een complex geheel waar wij als ontwerpers niet meer alle mogelijkheden vanwisten, is er besloten een handleiding te maken. Belangrijk nieuws!
Er zijn twee belangrijke mededelingen (van de twee auteurs):
Ten eerste bestaat er nu een speciale interface voor smartphones en tablets. Het wisselen tussen normaal gebruik en de smartphone pagina's gebeurt volledig automatisch. Bekijk het op http://www.ofiser.be/divenice
Ten tweede heeft Jean-Claude van de meeste plaatsen in Zeeland handige filmpjes toegevoegd die de laatste (kilometers) naar een parkeerplaats beschrijven. Soms is het niet altijd handig te vinden op de GPS 😁.

The authors of DiveNice are concerned about your safety! Therefore, AED units were added to the divenice information. It is not easy to find aal their locations, which is why we ask for everyone's help. Do you know a location near a Divesite, Dive Centre (or a hotel / restaurant mentioned in Divenice)? Mail the location, deliver a photo (so others who can easily find) and other information that may be important (responsible, opening hours...). You do help DiveNice, but you may also save lives by sharing this info. Thank you! (PS: at the moment of publication of this message, 55 AED-units are reported in DiveNice for Belgium and Zealand)

Since certain locations on the maps are too "populated" (Dive site/Dive base/hotel too close one near the other or at the same address) it is from now on possible to filter what you want to see on the map. This filter will be stored in your profile, meaning that you can select once what information you want to be skipped.
