New Year's resolutions are bs!
It seems to be a new hype... Call me old-fashioned, but I actually like to reminisce around the holidays about the things I wish to leave behind and what I want my focus to be on in the time ahead.
Setting unattainable goals never works, but what if this year we start smaller? I still want more clients, a nice car, and a slim body... Yet this time, I can't help but feel the need to slow down, too.
'Being' became more significant to me lately...
*What if this year we set intentions for who we want to be, rather than what we want to achieve?*
I noticed that it changes the flow.
An example: I want to be a beacon of light for those around me, and to get there, I need to take good care of my body, and thus eat healthy foods.
Leading us to the same goals, but in a way that nourishes you instead of putting on extra pressure (because I can imagine you already having plenty of that as it is).
This year, my focus is on treating my mind, my body, my business, and my family with the care and love they deserve. Taking action from the light I wish to see in the world gives me the drive to work harder without the overwhelm.
What can you do for yourself to 'be' more of who you truly are?
Is there anything you want to let go of for that to happen, and what actions come with bringing this version of yourself to life?
We like to think of intentions for 3 life areas, but feel free to add more:
* Work/Career
* Relationships
* Health/Vitality
Nobody is born with the life of their dreams.
A great life is made. It is chosen every single day, again and again. Even when it no longer feels fun or sexy, it's staying true to your purpose. I wish that commitment to self to you (and me).😉
