Gilles Despreaux is your culinary guide of La Chapelle for our 2022 season. Hailing from Paris his path has crossed several notorious star restaurants working alongside some of the most inspiring chefs and culinary minds that created his current signature style. Going to our restaurant is a true discovery, including a medieval wine cellar that houses the most exquisite and biodynamic natural wines. Our menu is mainly composed according to a farm-to-fork principle: local, fresh, and, where possible in collaboration with local farmers in order to strengthen the economic and social ties with the region and its people. Our chef cooks a weekly six to eight-course menu. Creating new dishes that are always in tune with the rhythm of nature and what the farmer in his field has to offer. info: We welcome family or friends in our family room, two rooms with one shared bathroom in the hallway. The medieval walls inside Château de la Chapelle keep the secret of an untold history. Our rooms breathe the historic farm castle feel combined with up-to-date comfort and design. Our beds have been developed for good and durable sleeping comfort. As in our belief, a good night's sleep is the best inspiration for a fresh new day within the Condroz!

The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. This Friday and Saturday Belgium National Day weekend Friday 21 and Saturday 22 July we proudly present OFYR x STOKE x La Château de la Chapelle, Our partnership with OFYR led us to join forces with the extraordinary Guy Weyts from Stoke Outdoor Cooking. Weyts, the renowned author of the OFYR cookbook, is truly a master when it comes to utilizing the OFYR for culinary creations. With over two decades of experience as the head chef of his restaurant, Pas-Vite, Weyts has cooked at prestigious events like Tomorrowland and has catered to notable figures such as Tony Blair and even the entire Dutch royal family.

"The serene wooded surroundings and the opportunity to work with local ingredients were more than enough to inspire me to establish the phenomenal concept of Stoke in the picturesque La Chapelle," says Guy Weyts. "Cooking outdoors with the OFYR adds an extra dimension to the culinary experience. Everything you need for a delightful gathering with loved ones is right here."

STOKE, in collaboration with Guy Weyts, will be offering an exclusive "outdoor cooking experience menu" at La Chapelle on July 21 and 22.
