• University Premier League (UPL) -
This is a Crick
et tournament, where all Universities in Sylhet take part. It is the first of its kind in Sylhet, started its journey in 2013, with a hope to be held at least once in every year. Initiators are thinking to organize such events through football, hockey and other types of games. UPL is organized by MU Sports Club in association with Sylhet District Sports Association.
• Metropolitan Premier League (MPL) -
This is exclusively for Metropolitan University’s current students. MPL started in the year of 2006. Initially, four teams from four schools participated in the tournament. Later, the numbers of teams were increased. MPL is still limited in cricket game. One of the most successful outcomes of MPL competition is University’s participation in the First Clemon Indoor Uni Cricket Tournament 2013. 32 Universities across the country participated in the tournament. Metropolitan University cricket team was the only team from Sylhet and played in the Semi Final of the tournament.
• Arrangement of Indoor Games -
It consists of various indoor games competitions like Carom, Ludo, Chess and Badminton. Mainly, it involves female students of the University. The competition held once in a year.
