Just saw that SRP e-SPORTS is pulling out of their sponsorship. Reason? Pretty simple, our ecosystem just isn’t sustainable yet. If I’m a team owner wanting to sponsor a lineup, I have to invest a significant amount to secure players because player demand has grown significantly over the past few years, while the OTHER SIDES of the ecosystem didn’t grow at all.

Hence, it’s tough to keep things going long-term, and many sponsors end up stepping back after just a few months. Remember, for anything to grow, whether it’s esports, business, or nature, you must have a solid ecosystem where all parts are thriving TOGETHER.

By definition, an ECOSYSTEM is a system where different parts work together and support each other. In esports, having a strong ecosystem means that teams, players, sponsors, publishers, and fans all have the SUPPORT they need from each other to THRIVE.

Now let me ask you, do we really have a sustainable esports ecosystem in Bangladesh?
