ম্যারাডোনা

দিয়েগো ম্যারাডোনা শুধুমাত্র একটা বিশ্বকাপ জিতেছিলেন তারপরেও তর্কসাপেক্ষে কেনো তাকে সর্বকালের সেরা প্লেয়ার হিসেবে বিবেচনা করা হয় !

ধরুন, বর্তমান সিরিয়াতে সবচেয়ে নিচের সারির দলগুলোর একটি স্পেজিয়া যাদের সিরিয়াতে টিকে থাকাই কষ্টসাধ্য ব্যাপার তারা হুট করে সিরিয়া টাইটেল জিতে গেলো।অসম্ভব মনে হচ্ছে না? কিন্তু এই অসম্ভব কাজটাই নাপোলির হয়ে করে দেখিয়েছিলেন দিয়েগো ম্যারাডোনা।

১৯৮৩-৮৪ সিজনে নাপোলি মাত্র এক পয়েন্টের জন্য রেলেগশন থেকে বেঁচে যায়। ১৯৮৪ সালে রেকর্ড ট্রান্সফার ফি ৬.৯ মিলিয়ন ইউরোতে বার্সেলোনা থেকে নাপোলির মত একটা দলে যোগ দেন দিয়েগো ম্যারাডোনা। এস্তাদিও সান পাওলো তে ৭৫০০০ দর্শক বরণ করে নেন ম্যারাডোনাকে। ম্যারাডোনার আগমনে নাপোলির একটা দৈনিক পত্রিকা এইভাবে নিউজ করে যে "আমাদের মেয়র,ঘরবাড়ি,চাকুরী,স্কুল,বাস,
ছেনিটাইজেশনের সল্পতা রয়েছে কিন্তু এগুলা কিছুই আর ম্যাটার করেনা কারণ এখন আমাদের কাছে ম্যারাডোনা আছে"। দক্ষিণ ইতালি তখনও উত্তর ইতালির চেয়ে অর্থনৈতিকভাবে অনেক দুর্বল ছিল।

উল্লেখ্য যে তখন ইতালিয়ান ফুটবল ডমিনেট করতো এসি মিলান,ইন্টার মিলান, জুভেন্টাস এবং রোমা। নাপোলি দূরে থাক তখন পর্যন্ত দক্ষিণ ইতালির কোনো দল সিরিয়া টাইটেল জীতেনাই।এই নাপলিকেই ১৯৮৬-৮৭ সিজনে ইতিহাসে সর্বপ্রথম সিরিয়া টাইটেল জেতান ডিয়েগো ম্যারাডোনা।নাপোলির মানুষ তখন আনন্দ উল্লাসে ফেটে পড়ে,শহরের প্রাচীন বাড়িগুলোর দেয়ালে ম্যারাডোনার মুরাল পেইন্ট করা হয়। সেই আসরে চতুর্থ সর্বোচ্চ গোল স্কোরার ছিলেন তিনি।পরবর্তী দুই সিজনে নাপোলি অল্পের জন্য লীগ টাইটেল হারায় এবং লিগে রানার্স আপ হয়। ১৯৮৯-৯০ সিজনে নাপোলির হয়ে আবার লীগ শিরোপা জিতে ম্যারাডোনা। এইবারও লীগের তৃতীয় সর্বোচ্চ গোল স্কোরার ছিলেন ম্যারাডোনা।এছাড়াও ম্যারাডোনা ১৯৮৭ সালে নাপোলির হয়ে কোপা ইটালিয়া,১৯৮৯ সালে উয়েফা কাপ,১৯৯০ সালে ইতালিয়ান সুপার কাপ জেতেন।

ম্যারাডোনা একজন অ্যাটাকিং মিডফিল্ডার হওয়া সত্বেও তিনি নাপোলির হয়ে ২৫৭ ম্যাচে ১১৫ গোল করেন এবং নাপোলির ইতিহাসের সর্বোচ্চ গোল স্কোরার হন (পরে ২০১৭ সালে হামসিক এই রেকর্ড ভেঙে দেন)। ১৯৮৭-৮৮ সিজনে তিনি সিরিয়ার টপ স্কোরার হন।ম্যারাডোনা নাপোলিকে যা দিয়েছেন তা হয়তো অন্যকেও পারতো না। হয়ত এজন্যই ম্যারাডোনা পেলে বা মেসির চেয়ে আলাদা। অবাক করা ব্যাপার হচ্ছে ম্যারাডোনা যাওয়ার পর আজ পর্যন্ত নেপোলি সিরি আ জয়ের স্বাধ অর্জন করতে পারে নি।
