Had the honour of meeting Argentine football legend Claudio Paul Caniggia today at Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel, alongside His Excellency Marcelo Carlos Cesa, Ambassador, Embassy of Argentina in Bangladesh and other distinguished guests. 🇦🇷🇧🇩

Meeting my childhood hero, one of the greatest footballers of his generation, was truly a special moment. I grew up watching Caniggia play, so having the opportunity to meet him in person was an unforgettable experience.

I was also honoured to present him with the Bangladesh Football Federation National Team jersey, signed by our national team players. It was wonderful to see how delighted he was to receive this special gift. ❤️💚

আজ ঢাকার রেনেসাঁ গুলশান হোটেলে আর্জেন্টিনার ফুটবল কিংবদন্তি ক্লদিও কানিজিয়ার সঙ্গে সাক্ষাতের সম্মান হলো। এসময় বাংলাদেশে নিযুক্ত আর্জেন্টিনার রাষ্ট্রদূত মহামান্য মার্সেলো কার্লোস সেসা এবং অন্যান্য সম্মানিত অতিথিরাও উপস্থিত ছিলেন। 🇦🇷🇧🇩

আমার শৈশবের নায়ক এবং তাঁর প্রজন্মের অন্যতম সেরা ফুটবলার কানিজিয়ার সঙ্গে দেখা করা সত্যিই অসাধারণ এক মুহূর্ত ছিল। ছোটবেলা থেকে তাঁকে খেলতে দেখে বড় হয়েছি, তাই আজ সরাসরি তাঁর সঙ্গে দেখা করার সুযোগটি আমার জন্য ছিল এক স্মরণীয় অভিজ্ঞতা।

আমাদের জাতীয় দলের খেলোয়াড়দের স্বাক্ষর করা বাংলাদেশ জাতীয় ফুটবল দলের একটি জার্সি তাঁকে তুলে দেওয়ার সম্মানও হয়েছে। জার্সিটি পেয়ে তাঁর আনন্দ দেখে সত্যিই ভালো লেগেছে।

Honoured to attend the Inauguration Ceremony of the FIFA Foundation Community Programme, implemented in Bangladesh by OBHIZATRIK Foundation.

I extend my heartfelt congratulations to OBHIZATRIK Foundation for becoming the first organization in Bangladesh to be an official partner of the FIFA Foundation Community Programme, bringing this globally recognized initiative to our country. With the programme now active in 139 countries, Bangladesh proudly joins this international movement.

The inauguration ceremony, held at Gulshan Youth Club, was graced by Mr. Abdur Rahman Suny, APS-2 to the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Official Representative of the Prime Minister for Dhaka-17; Dr. Wahiduzzaman (Tamal), President and Mehedy Hasan, General Secretary, Gulshan Youth Club; Ahmed Imtiaz Jami, President of OBHIZATRIK Foundation; and other distinguished guests.

As Vice President of Bangladesh Football Federation, I strongly believe that football goes beyond the boundaries of a sport. It is a powerful platform for youth development, leadership, discipline, teamwork, and social inclusion. I am confident that this initiative will create meaningful opportunities and leave a lasting impact on thousands of young lives across Bangladesh.

I wish OBHIZATRIK Foundation continued success in representing Bangladesh on the global stage and look forward to witnessing this programme inspire future generations through the beautiful game.
