1x12-speed cranks
The new XT 1x12-speed cranks feature DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT + technology, whose special precision-machined tooth profile ensures that the chain will find the best grip on the upper part of the chainring on rough terrain, but equally well on the chainring dissolves and thus ensures efficiency, ease of movement and low noise of the drive. For fast and safe mounting of the chainrings, the cranks are equipped with a direct-mount system, which allows the chainring change in a flash.

cassette
If you want to cover the widest possible range, then the 10-51 tooth cassette is the right choice. This comes with HYPERGLIDE + technology, which guarantees the same high shifting speed, precision and ease of operation during upshifting and downshifting, and contributes to an extremely quiet drive train. The cassette has a Spider construction made of aluminum, the two largest sprockets are made of aluminum and contribute to weight reduction as well as to the robustness and longevity.

Chain
The XT HYPERGLIDE + chain has been optimized from the ground up and is an integral part of the new powertrain. With its high-precision molded contact surfaces to chainring and cassette teeth, it ensures fast, precise and smooth shifts in both directions, even under the highest load. Chromed inner straps noticeably increase durability.

derailleur
With the single-speed version, the XT rear derailleur provides fast and accurate gear changes over a huge gear range. Guiding and tensioning rollers with 13 teeth and a rubber damper dampen noise and increase ride comfort. In addition, they improve the grip of the chain and all conceivable conditions.

Shifter right
With an adjustment range in lateral (more than 14 mm) and rotation direction, the I-SPEC EV shifter offers maximum individual ergonomics. Rubber contact surfaces and 2-WAY-RELEASE technology make switching pleasant and easy.

Four-piston brake for trail / enduro. The new design of the brake lever, which is mounted at an angle, supporting itself at two points on the handlebars and thus significantly increasing the rigidity, provides more direct feedback and more braking power, which is still supported by the SERVO WAVE technology. The braking systems are characterized by faster response higher performance and a shorter free travel.

brake discs
The revised brake discs with ICE TECHNOLOGY FREEZA heat dissipation reduce the temperatures significantly again and thus ensure consistent braking performance and a longer service life of the brake pads. The construction with an aluminum core between two stainless steel layers effectively dissipates heat via the integrated cooling fins.

2-WAY RELEASE
The trigger lever of a RAPIDFIRE PLUS gear lever is usually called a trigger because it is pulled towards the handle like the trigger of a pistol. The trigger lever of the RAPIDFIRE PLUS shifters from SHIMANO ALIVIO to XTR can be operated in the same way. With him, however, can also be optionally switched by thumb pressure.

Special tooth function
SHIMANO's DYNAMIC CHAIN ENGAGEMENT + is a special tooth profile for single chainrings in the XC, Enduro and Trail applications.
It improves the support and guidance of the chain and facilitates pedaling even in rough terrain. The improved chain guide in each gear reduces wear and tear.
HYPERGLIDE +
HYPERGLIDE + is the starter for the new-generation MTB experience, allowing for the first time consistent pedaling on virtually any terrain. The completely redesigned drive system with its proprietary chain allows for faster shifting, efficient power transmission and unprecedented chain stability.
HYPERGLIDE + helps drivers master rough terrain confidently. It dampens pedaling and shortens switching times by a third (compared to the current HG system)
RAPIDFIRE MONO PLUS
The RAPIDFIRE PLUS MONO lever is a user-friendly and simple front switching element in a lightweight and compact design. It allows comfortable upshifting and downshifting.
SERVO WAVE
The SERVOWAVE brake lever absorbs a lot of braking distance at the beginning of its movement, so that the pads can be guided to the brake disc with a small lever travel. After application of the brake lining, the force transmission factor increases rapidly. The greater part of the lever travel is thus still available to increase the braking force and to dose more targeted.
ICE TECHNOLOGY FREEZA
ICE TECHNOLOGIES in combination with the FREEZA brake disc construction ensures fast heat dissipation. This leads to a more uniform braking performance under extreme conditions, extends the life of the brake pad and reduces braking force loss and brake noise.
