কোনো টুর্নামেন্ট আয়োজন করার জন্য এজন্যই নিরপেক্ষ ভেন্যু প্রয়োজন।

রাজশাহী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আজকে যা করে দেখালো তা ভুলবার মতো নয়, সামান্য একটা ট্রফির জন্য অতিথি খেলোয়াড়দের উপর হামলা চালালো! স্বাগতিক টিম বলে সুবিধা নেয়াটা স্বাভাবিক, কিন্তু এই রকম আচরণ?!! অথচ তারাই আবার বর্তমান চ্যাম্পিয়ন।

লোকাল টুর্নামেন্টেও এরকম ঘটনা কম দেখা যায়। নিন্দা জানাই এমন ঘটনার। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় আর কখনো কোনো ঘটনায় রাজশাহীকে সাপোর্ট দিবে বলে মনে হয় না।

বাংলাদেশের ব্যাটসম্যানদের হয়েছেটা কী?!!

আজ সিলেটের মতো ব্যাটিং উইকেটে যেভাবে উইকেট বিলিয়ে এসেছেন সেটা চিন্তার বিষয়। আক্রমনাত্মক খেলে রান আসছিলো, ঠান্ডা মেজাজে খেলেও রান আসছিলো, তবুও কেন বাজে শট খেলেই আউট হতে হবে?

গ্লেন ফিলিপসের মতো বোলার উইকেট পায়, দেশের অভিজ্ঞ ব্যাটসম্যান আনকোরা খেলোয়াড়ের মতো উইকেট দিয়ে আসেন, সবচেয়ে ভালো ফর্মে থাকা ব্যাটসম্যান ফুলটস বলে আউট হয়, তাও আবার টেস্ট ম্যাচে!!

এই বিশ্বকাপে বাংলাদেশের সেরা ব্যাটিং পারফরম্যান্স...পুরো বিশ্বকাপেই যে বাংলাদেশ দল ভুল ব্যাটিং অর্ডারে খেলেছে সেটা আজ আরো একবার প্রমাণ হলো।

৩০৬ রান এক হিসাবে খারাপ না, তবে পুনের পিচে আরো ৩০-৪০ টা রান বেশি হলে ভালো হতো। ৪০ ওভার পর্যন্ত দল ৩৫০ এর পথেই হাঁটছিলো।

বোলাররা এই ৩০৬ রান ডিফেন্ড করতে পারে কিনা সেটা এখন দেখার বিষয়...
