Our chakras are traditionally described as energy centres of the body, while modern science gives us another beautiful way to understand the body through the nervous system.

Although chakras and the nervous system are not scientifically proven to be the same thing, many chakra practices such as mindful movement, breathing, meditation and body awareness can support relaxation and help us regulate the nervous system. 🌿

I’m happy to share that I have completed a Chakra Healing course, and I’m continuing to explore how these traditional practices can be thoughtfully combined with yoga, breathwork and nervous-system awareness. ✨
