​We are immensely proud to announce that our very own Sayeem Mahmud and Tanvir Ahmed heading to Malaysia to compete in the SIO International Mountain Bike Challenge 2026—a prestigious UCI Continental Series Race.

​Sayeem will be taking on world-class terrain, representing Drais Factory Racing, Score Components, Drais Bicycle , Maxxis Tyres Bangladesh, CST Tires Bangladesh and flying the red and green flag for Bangladesh on the international stage.

Reaching a UCI-ranked competition is a massive testament to his dedication, relentless grit, and raw talent.

Today, we wanted to share the story of someone who genuinely inspired us.

Meet Zäwãð Ħäsän II—the very first person to order our Drais Vector SL frame.

But that's not what makes his story special.

Zawad trained on his own. No coach, no racing background, and before this, he had never lined up for a bicycle race. Then he entered his very first competition and finished in 5th place. That's an achievement worth celebrating.

Over the past few months, we spent countless hours talking with him over the phone, discussing bikes, training, and everything in between. We finally got to meet him in person at the Akij Bicycle Challenge Dhaka, and he turned out to be exactly the kind of person we hoped he'd be—humble, genuine, and incredibly passionate about the sport.

People like Zawad remind us that consistency and determination can take you a long way.

We're proud to have him as part of the Drais family and can't wait to see where his cycling journey takes him next.
