This is very clear that there is a huge difference between his UCL records & his Bundesliga record.

He was very much steady with his tactics & game plan in UCL. But he was quite experimental in Bundesliga with his squad & with his tactics. Not Once or twice, there were actually many time that cost them in Bundesliga. Specially in this season.

So board wasn’t not happy with him despite his success in UCL.

Secondly some of the big name in the team wasn’t not happy with him. Player like Muller, Neuer wasn’t happy.

He failed to trigger all the new signing. Like Mane & Gravenberch, Sabtizer.

Bosses were not happy with the development of the team & specially few players. Like Bayern highly rate Sane & Gnabry. This players are also key for Germany. But under Julian there growth was questionable. Players were also not happy with his system. Bayern fear they might leave for this.

Bayern already lost Lewandowski. Soon or later Muller & Neuer will leave football too. So board think it will be hard for them if player like Coman, Sane or Gnabry decided to leave the club.

But the most important part is Thomas Tuchel.

Bayern board is a huge admirer of Thomas Tuchel since his Dortmund days. But they never got him in their boat. Bayern bosses believe if they don't jump on Tuchel right now they will miss it again. As many big club are looking at Tuchel. So they thought this is the right moment to react.
