K M Mozibul Hoque has been elected chairman of the board of governors and the board of trustees of the University of Asia Pacific Foundation for the 2026–27 term during its 23rd annual general meeting. Hoque has a distinguished background in education, international engagement and corporate sectors having been recognized as a commercially important person in Bangladesh from 1989 to 2000.

His leadership roles include serving as national president of JCI Bangladesh and world vice president of JCI International. He is the current honorary consul general of Yemen in Bangladesh and chairs several organizations, including TAS Aviation Group and Shah Group. Other newly elected board members include Alamzeb Farzad Ahmed, Alhaj Abdul Malek Mollah, Zaki Alam and architect Mahbuba Haque.
