The defending champions, 𝐋𝐌𝐒 𝐁𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐡, 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐬𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐌𝐒 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐩 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, ready to represent the nation once again on the global stage.
Following their memorable title run in Kenya in 2024, the team brings a strong, familiar core to Malaysia, with 7 out of the 10 members from the championship-winning squad returning for the upcoming tournament. Together, the 10-man roster brings some big tournament experience along with an impressive 𝟏,𝟎𝟖𝟕 𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, 𝟐𝟒,𝟗𝟎𝟑 𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝟔𝟗𝟗 𝐰𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬 between them.
The team will once again be led by Syed Mustahid Hossain, the 2024 World Cup winning skipper and Batter of the Tournament. He is joined by the nation's most celebrated LMS match-winners, including Maruf Ahmed, the 2024 Player of the Tournament, and Sk Arifuzzaman, who etched his name into LMS history with one of the greatest innings ever played in a Major LMS Final.
Adding further pedigree to the lineup are Shariful Islam Shaikot and Toufiqul Haque Nayan, both of whom earned spots in the 2024 Team of the Tournament, alongside dynamic opener Farhan Zani Shovon and explosive power-hitter Inzamam Haque to complete the returning championship core.
The lineup is rounded out with depth and firepower, with Aman Ullah Aman, Riazul Haque, and Nirjan Bhadra stepping in to complete a formidable 10-man roster.
Guiding the side from the dugout, 2024 World Cup winning coach Rubaiyat Haq will accompany the team to Malaysia as Team Mentor, alongside Lathiful Azam who takes charge as Team Coach.
