우리는 2025년 Korea Epic Ride 루트를 계획하고 있습니다.
보다 더 많은 사람들이 다양한 경험을 할 수 있도록, 2025년에는 몇가지 변화를 줄 예정입니다.

첫번째, 출발점과 도착점이 같은 루프코스로 구성됩니다. 이점은 여러분들의 물류의 편의성을 제공할 것입니다.

둘째, 완전히 포장된 길로만 구성된 1,000km 길이의 코스가 추가됩니다. 그리고, MTB가 요구되는 비포장 길이 포함된 코스는 700km와 300km로 구성됩니다. 그리고, 아직 바이크패킹 장비를 갖추지 못한 라이더나 가족들과 함께 가볍게 즐기려는 라이더들을 위해 캠핑장에 모든 장비를 두고서 라이딩하는 원데이라이딩 코스도 제공될 것입니다. 아직 코스는 개발과 확인중에 있으며 참가자에게 제공될 것입니다.

셋째, 전기자전거도 참가할 수 있습니다. 우리는 이 부분에 대해 많은 고민을 했습니다. 결론적으로 우리 이벤트는 경쟁을 위한 것이라기 보다는 각자의 방식으로 자연을 즐기자는 방향성을 최우선 가치로 생각합니다. 전기자전거 충전은 라이더가 스스로 해결하여야 합니다.

넷째, 라이더들은 산속이나 캠핑장에서 야영을 할수도 있고, 모텔에서 잘 수도 있습니다. 모텔에서 자는 것이 편안하기는 하겠지만, 대자연 속에서 자연의 소리를 들으면 잠드는 것도 좋은 경험입니다.

다섯째, 모든 참가자는 상해사망보험에 가입하여야 합니다. 아시다시피 장거리 자전거라이딩은 매우 높은 체력수준을 요구합니다. 산에서는 멧돼지, 뱀, 각종 독충이 생명에 위협을 줄 수 있으나, 구조대의 도움을 받지 못할 수도 있습니다. 이 이벤트에 참가하는 것은 스스로 이 모든 위험에 대처하고 감수하는 것을 의미합니다.

Korea Epic Ride 2025 (It just keeps getting better!)

Kiseok Uhm says something like: "We are planning the Korea Epic Ride route for 2025 and making a few changes.
-First, rides will be loop courses with the same starting and arrival point for convenience of logistics.
-Second, a 1,000 km long course consisting of only completely paved roads will be added. The dirt road courses for MTB and gravel bikes will be 700km and 300km. Last but not least, there will be a one-day riding course for riders who have not yet honed their bikepacking skills or who want to have fun with their family. The last course is still under development and review and will be available to participants in the future.
Third, ebikes can now participate. We thought a lot about this. In our conclusion, our events are prioritized to allow riders to enjoy nature in their own way rather than for competition. You'll need to work out how to charge your ebike by yourself, though.
Fourth, riders can camp in the mountains, campgrounds, and sleep in motels. Sleeping in a motel might be comfortable, but falling asleep listening to the sounds of nature in the great outdoors is also a rewarding experience.
Fifth, all participants must be covered in injury and death insurance. As you know, long-distance cycling requires a very high level of fitness. In the mountains, snakes, and various insects can be life-threatening, and riders may be far from rescuers. Participating in this event means facing and taking all these risks upon yourself.
