Our Club congratulates Cameron on his success.

South Australia's own Cameron Whant has won the F-Class British Open.

Competing across six ranges over two days at the National Shooting Centre in Bisley, Cameron put together a remarkable two-day aggregate of 434.38 — dropping just 16 points across 800, 900 and 1000 yards to finish clear of the international field.

A world-class performance on one of the most demanding ranges in the sport, and the perfect way to head into the VII F-Class World Championships which begin Monday.

Congratulations Cameron.

Oh my goodness, what an amazing weekend we have had! And what a wonderful mob of visitors attended with 27+ rifle clubs represented.

Kerry and Ros served 85+ people for every meal (and we are totally exhausted). Thanks to visitors Brenda, David and Julie for helping us in the kitchen.

Congrats to all the winners, everyone for their sportsmanship and fun, Don and Ali for the score-recording, Joe for running the raffle and donating the major prize, Jan for donating a lovely painting for auction (which now hangs on our wall), all who lavished high praise on our little club, the wonderful sponsors, particularly David Hayman of RIC, - and all who helped in any way.

Biggest praise to Warren, Richard and Allen for making it all happen! Now for the clean-up (and cash counting); then we are catering for 40 on Tuesday Night, as a little side hustle. 😵‍💫🥱

Good morning from the Yunta Rifle Range where the sky is sunny, but the wind is fickle!
After a hearty roast dinner last night and a cooked breakfast, the troops have rallied today for 15-shot 800 and 900 metre ranges.

An amazing day on the range. Good scores and cheery banter. Shooters from 27 different clubs, across 4 states. Tasty smoko’s, a hearty hot lunch - and a big roast dinner for the hungry hordes. And we’ll do it all again tomorrow. Scores appear on the NRAA website (Results: Yunta OPM).
