And we are once again celebrating with Domino's Australia Pizza Young 🍕

Congrats to the players of the week last week: Bonnie, Theo, and Sadie. You are all putting in an amazing effort and getting better every week!

Don’t forget Hookin2Hockey will run for 8 weeks during term 3. Same day and time. The link for registration will be shared shortly.

🖤💛❤️ Reconciliation Round is here and the Young Combined Hockey Association is proud to stand together in recognising, learning and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and communities. 🖤💛❤️

This week we acknowledge National Reconciliation Day and invite everyone in our hockey community to get involved and connect with this year’s theme: All In for Reconciliation.

We will be holding a special event at at 2:30pm.

To help everyone take part, we’ve made slight changes to both game start times and encourage as many players as possible to join us.

The Young Combined Hockey Association hosted its annual Cherry Cup tournament on Sunday, welcoming 57 players across six teams from Young and Cowra.

🏑🍒 CHERRY CUP 2026 – WHAT A DAY! 🍒🏑

Despite the cold and wet, the Cherry Cup was a huge success yesterday. Six fantastic teams from Young and Cowra took the field, showed off their talent, and most importantly — had a whole lot of fun.

A massive thank you to every player, supporter, volunteer and organiser who helped make it another fun‑filled day to remember. Community sport at its best. ❤️🙌

The 2026 Cherry Cup was one to remember – a fantastic day of hockey, great competition, and plenty of laughs shared with an even more fantastic group of people. 💙💛

A huge thank you to every player who registered, came along, and gave it their all on the field. 👏🏑

Thank you to our umpires for keeping the games running smoothly. 🏑📣

Thank you to everyone who helped out in the canteen. 🍫🥤🍔

And a special thank you to Sue for keeping everyone fed from the BBQ! 🌭🔥👏

A massive shout-out to our incredible committee, who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to put the day together and make sure everything ran seamlessly 🙌💪❤️

Congratulations to Cowra Two on taking home the 2026 Cherry Cup title! 🏆🥇🎉 What a fantastic achievement!

And to the Emperor Penguins – you were so close and thoroughly deserved your place in the Grand Final. 👏🐧💙 An outstanding effort all day.
