The club was first established in 1974 and has grown from strength to strength over the years. The loyal committee and members have worked very hard to establish a permanent ground at Bendick Murrell (between Young and Cowra NSW). The 7 sand competition arenas are now enhanced by a 100m x 50m sand warm-up arena which proved extremely successful when there were large numbers warming up together. Sa

16 rubber lined stables All the stables are filled with sand.

3 Stallion Yards

70 Large (4m x 4m, 190cm high) Rubber lined steel yards.

5 large wash bays,

Steamy hot Showers, freshly refurnished. Toilets located around the grounds, with the recent of addition of toilets near the stables.

We are thrilled to have Grand Prix riders Jodie Dunstan and Susan Elekessy sharing their wealth of knowledge, experience and horsemanship with participants throughout the camp.

Starting 5.15pm Friday 11th September

Part 1 — Friday | Levels through to Medium
Susan will lead the discussion, with Jodie demonstrating the training principles and progression with her beautiful Medium/advanced mare, Fleur.

5.15pm Saturday 12th September

Part 2 — Saturday | Progression through the Higher Levels to Grand Prix
Jodie will unravel the mystery of getting to Grand Prix with demonstrating the ridden progression with her talented Grand Prix mare, Geneva.

This is a wonderful opportunity for all camp participants to gain an insight into what it takes to develop a horse from the early levels through to Grand Prix, with an emphasis on correct training, the Training Scale and classical principles of dressage.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from two experienced Grand Prix riders and coaches to watch the principles applied in practice.

Spring has sprung at Bendick Murrell and the grounds are looking spectacular! 💚🐴

It’s time to come and show off all that winter training and put your hard work to the test at our October Official Competition! ✨

Enjoy the beautiful drive out to Bendick Murrell, with the canola fields putting on a spectacular Spring show along the way. 🌼🌾
