A few photos I took today whilst riding out with the Romans in the Forest. More to come over the weekend. Basically, we are having a camp at our place this weekend and we went out for a 5km march in the misty rain. With Rod Walker on Aromist Athos and myself on Ophir Abou.

Took the boys out for a ride today, ended up covering 9.2km.
They were both their usual chilled out selves.

Aromist Athos and Ophir Abou did well at the 15th century call to arms camp over the weekend.
Very proud of my boys.
Athos is a complete infantryman killing machine and Ophir Abou will be with a little bit of work as he wasn't worried about them in all their armour at all.

We went a little bit western today with Ophir Abou.
Had a really nice ride out in Sunny corner forest with Rod Walker and Aromist Athos.

Managed a ride out today on Ophir Abou HSH ASH Stallion. Remi as we know him had not been ridden in around 5 years or more, (he is a little bit fat LOL) but when you have a Stallion with great heritage breeding, an amazing temperament and a laid back, can do attitude, you know you will have a safe enjoyable ride every time. This horse is just awesome. He has many talents and has done a bit of everything in his lifetime from showing to campdrafting and more, but next weekend, he will be heading to a Medieval Camp, where he will encounter a lot of Armoured Knights on foot and horseback. This will be somewhat new to him to get in amongst them, but I am sure he will handle it well.

Aromist Athos, who was bred by us was Remi's trusty companion out on the ride today and will be next weekend too. Athos is just a great safe reliable champion who is always trustworthy and reliable.

It is great to see the horses I have bred out and about with their owners. 1st showjumping competition for Cynthia and Aromist Stella. Cynthia purchased Stella as soon as she was born and picked her up on weaning. They have built an amazing connection together.
They got clear rounds too. Well done Cynthia and Stella.
Stella has a lovely laid back quiet temperament like all of Ophir Abou's progeny do.

Did a little bit of training with Aromist Kleio and Aromist Athos today in readiness for Tarago Show. Athos was his normal good chilled self. This was Kleios 3rd attempt at skill at arms and I was very pleased with her. Ophir Abou certainly puts his temperament and versatility on his progeny.

Alecto hadn't been ridden for 12 months and she was a very good girl.
Alecto is a Registered 8yo 2nd x ASH Mare by Aromist Athos out of Aromist Little Star (TB). She stands around 15.1 1/2 hh and is very sweet. She loves people and attention.
We are offering her to a new home as we don't have time for her. She is 8yo, but still green as we were always going to keep her and do something with her and have never found the time due to our busy work schedules.
So we have decided she should move on to someone who will use her and enjoy her.
She is quiet, no malice at all, no nastiness, but she is a bit jumpy when out, due to her lack of exposure.
She just needs an experienced rider to get her out. I am sure with a few weeks of consistency, she will be amazing.
You can see in the videos how good she is after 12 months off and just getting on without any lunging and going out.
She is lovely to sit on with a good length of stride and very comfortable trot and canter.
Will only be available to the right home.
