Happy Friday Team Managers

Introduction
With the 2025 season just around the corner, I wanted to do some introductions, most of you know me as I have spoken to many of you previously but for those who have not I am Helena, I am the Yeronga AFL9s comp manager as well as the Yeronga senior men's team manager, I am here to help and support the best I can throughout the season.
If I am unavalive you can also contact Kim Bridle who will be assisting me.
Kim is our 2x volunteer of the year and is the backbone of the Yeronga football club.
We also have Hayden Clark who will be our umpire coordinator, Hayden is heavily involved at the Calamvale Leopards as well as being an exceptional umpire in the jnr and senior space for many years.

Housekeeping

-Game Day we will have the senior canteen/bar open food and drinks (the one closest to field 1) (also can recommend the chicken burgers)
- You will find me on the concrete section in front of the canteen overlooking field 1 on night 1 for any questions/assistance etc
- Warm up footballs can be purchased from me on night 1 or throughout the season or can also be ordered in advance.
- Game times - Game will be from 5.30pm and final game at 8.35pm and will be all wrapped up by 9.20pm. if anyone has any issues please let me know asap before the draw is finalised on wednesday next week.

We are looking for 2 mens teams and 3 mixed teams to complete out Wednesday night comp starting 8 October.

We are now also recruiting for a women’s comp on a Thursday.

Week 1: Wednesday 8th October.
Duration: 8 weeks + 1 week for Finals
Cost: $900 per team

Good morning teams,

As we all know Mother Nature has not been on our side this season and so that continues with hosting the grand final week.

Unfortunately fields are closed till further notice due to the amount of rain we had last night and continue to get. So with saying that the AFL9s season has come to an abrupt end.

Thank you again for everyone’s understanding and patience.

Hope to see you all next spring season in hopes of better weather.

Good morning

I just wanted to give a quick update.

This Wednesday we will be hosting a grand final round for 1st and 2nd in the men’s comp and
Top 6 in the mixed comp.

6pm - 5th v 6th and 3rd v 4th ( mixed )
6.50pm - 1st v 2nd (men’s and mixed.

I’m sorry to all other teams who have missed out but unfortunately we only have access to 1 oval for a short period of time on Wednesday and this was the only outcome we could come up with
