WELCOME BACK, ALEX!

Yeronga Eagles FC is delighted to confirm that Alex Arteaga is back in our Men’s Program and has agreed to lead our QPL3 U23 Men’s in 2027.

Alex has been a club member, coach and player for 25+ years. He knows what it means to represent Yeronga Eagles.

Alex has previously led our U23s, notably guiding our 2023 FQPL5 U23s to the Premiership and Championship Double.

Now he’s back, ready to help build our 2027 U23 squad and continue developing the next generation of Eagles.

Alex, great to have you back where you belong.

GRACIAS WILLIAM! 🦅💙🤍

Yeronga Eagles FC confirms that William Valencia will be leaving his role as FQPL Men’s Manager.

William joined us in 2023 and, over the past four seasons, has played a big part in the success of our men’s program.

🏆 2023 FQPL5 U23 Premiers & Champions
🏆 2024 FQPL4 Men’s Champions

But William’s contribution has gone well beyond the results on the pitch. He has also been there to assist the committee with additional work outside of his role, always willing to lend a hand and contribute to the club.

William, thank you for your commitment, your time and everything you have contributed to Yeronga Eagles FC over the past four seasons.

We wish you all the best for whatever comes next and hope to see you around Leyshon Park.

Yeronga Eagles FC confirms that Sanel has informed us of his decision to step down from his role as Assistant Coach of our FQPL3 U23 Men.

After just one year, Sanel leaves the role having been part of an FQPL3 U23 Premiership and FQPL3 U23 Grand Final Runners Up finish.

Sanel, thank you for your contribution to the club, your commitment to the players and the work you have put in alongside Gabe over the past year.

We hope to see you continue your journey with the Eagles in another capacity.

Fresh from leading our FQPL3 Women to a Premiership & Championship Double in 2026, Tom Hampson is already looking ahead. The work starts now as we begin building our 2027 Women’s Program — and for the first time in Yeronga Eagles history, we’ll be introducing an U23 Women’s Squad.
