Well... 132 days have passed since our last post. The team would like to apologize for this shocking inactivity. We swear our admins are not lazy bludgers, we haven't been able to properly establish the club because the boys are still stuck on the freedom-destroying learner license. As the admins start to gain their provisional licenses you will witness momentous changes. The CQ area will soon tremble in fear as the four horsemen of the apocalypse emerge on their iron beasts. We here at CQ Moped Enthusiasts would like to apologise for the inactivity lately, our admins have been rather busy lately. Today our admins enjoyed watching Scott Mclaughlin absolutely demolish the Bathurst 1000 track record, however, we have been thinking that one of the boys on their iron beasts could easily smash the record. The challenge is set. We hope that everyone will enjoy seeing an all-Ford podium tomorrow on the final day of Bathurst.

G'day dudes and dudettes welcome to the page!
We have recently received some questions about the licensing required to ride a moped. The Queensland State Government states that you can drive a moped with an internal combustion engine, with a maximum capacity of 50mL or as it is most commonly stated, 50cc, on a standard C (car) class license. A maximum manufacturer’s top rated speed of 50km/h is required also. It is also stated that if you are to ride a moped with a car license you cannot carry a passenger. If you are a provisional license holder you can ride a moped however you have to display one single P plate on the back of your moped and it cannot obstruct the license plate.
