Yeoval Golf Club celebrated its 50th anniversary on Saturday 15 August 2026.

About 50 guests enjoyed 9 holes of golf, a delicious lunch, interesting speeches covering the previous 50 years (and more) and catching up with old friends.

A very successful 50th Yeoval Open Tournament and Joe Stanbrook Memorial Golf Day was held last Sunday in perfect autumn weather conditions for golf with 44 starters, including 20 local members and players from Nyngan, Wellington, Cumnock, Bogan Gate, Molong, Dubbo, Mudgee & Orange.

The winners on the day were:
A GRADE: Scratch: Ashton Debank Nyngan with a score of 73 from Matthew Wykes 75.
Stableford: Brendon Smith Nyngan 1st with 34 points from Robert Christie 32 on a countback from Rod Irwin Wellington.

B GRADE: Scratch: John Amey 88 on a countback from David Vella.
Stableford: Winner Colin Britt Bogan Gate 36 points RU Roger Wood Molong 35.

WOMEN: Scratch: Ann Wood Molong with 95 .
Stableford Jan Gibson Cumnock 32 points.

JUNIOR: Johno Christie Yeoval.

NTP MEN: Hole no 3 B Smith Nyngan. Hole no 6 Glenn Farr Dubbo, Hole no 7 L Vaughan,
