Yenda Golf Club Yenda Golf Club has 12 holes setup to play 18 hole competition every Sunday. Fee is $15 for members. Open to the public, green fees are $15 for social players.

Vets comp on Tuesdays starting at 7.30 in summer, 8.30 in the winter. Weekly comp for all players starts at 7.30 on Sunday (summer), 8.30 (winter)

Jason Newman and son Logan were the winners of Sunday's two ball ambrose with a nett score of 67 nett and in second place also with a great score were Mark Knight and Alan Cotterill with 68.25 nett.
Nearest the pin winners on the 18th were Ray Goirigolzzari and Renzo Surian and the pro pin went to Alan Cotterill and Mark Knight.
Next Sunday's competition is a modified stableford and captains of the day are Damien Donavan and Vince Loguidice.

The winner of Sunday's stableford day for the Guzzler's Mug was Julius Emalay with 40 points, congratulations Julius. In second place with another great score of 37 points was Ray Goirigolzarri.
Renzo Surian won nearest the pin on the 14th and the pro pin went to Vince Loguidice.
Next Sunday's competiton is a two ball ambrose and captains of the day are Renzo Surian and Ray Goirigolzzari.

Monthly Medal day on Sunday was played in great conditions.
The A Grade winner was Vince Loguidice with a score of 75 nett. Damien Donavan won the B Grade medal with 73 nett and Cherie Berton won C Grade with 76 nett.
The overall winner of the day was Damian Donavan, in second place was Chris Close with 74 nett and Vince Loguidice came in third.
Nearest the pin winners were Jason Newman on the 9th, Ray Goirigolzzari on the 14th and the pro pin went to Matt Snaidero.
The ball competition went down to 76nett.
Tuesday's veteran's day winner with 34 points was Bruce Black from Lidio Bisa on 32 points. Roni Santalucia won both nearest the pin on the 18th and the pro pin.
A stableford will be played next Sunday for the Guzzler's Mug and captains of the day are Chris Close and Gary Signor.

Sunday's stableford event was won by Bob Berton with a score of 37 points. In second place on a four way countback was Bruce Black with 34 points from Roni Santalucia, Gary Signor and Kim Carnell.
Graham Monk won nearest the pin on the 14th, Jason Newman won the 18th and the pro pin went to Mark Knight.
The final for the Curran Shield was won by Mark Knight and Jason Newman from Roni Santalucia and Glennis Forner. Unfortunately Glennis was unable to play due to injury so well done to Roni for his great solo effort. Congratulations Mark and Jason.
Tuesday's veteran's day was won by Ray Goirigolzzari with 34 points. The unpredictable weather saw a reduced field play in the conditions.
Next Sunday is a stroke competiton for the Monthly Medal and captains of the day are Bob Berton and Greg Hill.
After the rain event the course is in immaculate condition and we welcome all social players and members to come and enjoy a game of golf.

The second round of the Curran Shield was played today. Jason Newman and Mark Knight defeated Gary Signor and Chris Close.
And Roni Santalucia and Glennis Forner defeated Bob Berton and Vince Loguidice.
Winner of the day with 37 points was Glennis Forner and Vince Loguidice was second with 36 points.
NTP on the 18th was Mark Knight and the ProPin went to Jason Newman.
Next week will be the final round of the Curran Shield.
Captains are Bruce Black and Jeff Harman.
There is no Vets report because of the bad weather last Tuesday.

This week was the qualifying round for the Curran Shield. Unfortunately, the weather was not favourable and after the first 9 holes, played in light misty rain, it was decided to call it a day.
The following golfers will play off against each other next Sunday.
Mark Knight and Jason Newman will play Chris Close and Gary Signor.
Bob Berton and Vince Logiudice will play Roni Santalucia and Glennis Forner.
In the Vets competition on Tuesday, Cherie Berton was winner of the day with 33 points and Laurie Corner came in 2nd with 30 points. NTP was Gary Signor and the ProPin went to Lidio Bisa.
Next week is the first round of the Curran Shield and captain of the day is Jim Jackson.

Yenda Golf Club advises that the course will not be available for social golfers on Monday 18th May because of the GRIFFITH ZONE CROSS COUNTRY.

Today's competition was a Guzzlers Mug and winner of the day was Vince Loguidice with a score of 35 stableford points.
Unfortunately numbers were down again so there was no 2nd place given.
Vince also won the ProPin and Damian Donovan was NTP on the 14th.
Hopefully, numbers will be up again next week. Conditions were perfect for golf today.
Next week is the Qualifying round for the Curran Shield and Captains for the day are Claude Martimbianco and Ronni Santalucia.
There was only a small number of Vets last Tuesday as well. Winner of the day with 38 points was Allan Cotterill.
