Friday 24th we packed up the team and headed for the Yorke peninsula dirt kart club to have a crack at the peninsula cup 2 day race meet.
Saturday saw the chief pilot excited to jump in the kart for a run around a new track that he’s never seen.
The track looked fantastic and did not disappoint! The track crew did an amazing job all day keep it on point!!!
We had a few issues with a dead spot under acceleration from the green flag drop, but think we sorted it by the end of the day thanks to L7 race team for the carby kit.
Sunday saw a bit of a weather delay firstly with fog that wouldn’t let up. We got one heat almost done before the rain came along and held things up a bit more and certainly made it interesting for the final heat and the clean up later on!!!

Saturday
Heat 1 P3 - DNF
Heat 2 P9 - P9
Heat 3 P8 - P9
Heat 4 P4 - P10

Sunday
Heat 5 P1 - P4
Heat 6 P11 - P7
OVERALL finished 8th.
Thanks to Yorke Peninsula Dirt kart club for hosting an awesome meet, all the track crew, the volunteers, and everyone else in between without you guys these shows simply cannot run!. Can’t wait to head back there again soon.

Saturday 18th started early with the K9 team making the trip across to Morgan Dirt Kart Club Inc for their Legends of Morgan Tribute race meet. It was the first time the chief pilot has raced at Morgan and the track did not disappoint!! Emmett loved the fast flowing track and awesome track surface.
Heat 1 P8 finished P7

Heat 2 P2 finished P8 after making a wrong choice of line behind a much slower kart.

Heat 3 P7 finished P7

Heat 4 P5 finished P6

Final P6 finished P5 just missed out on 4th by half a kart length and finished the day in P5 on overall points.

Thanks for a great race meet and a great day, we will definitely be returning.

Congratulations to all the place getters, a good day of racing had by all. Thanks to all the officials and and all the volunteers, without these people giving up their own time to assist in the running of these events they simply would not happen.
Now it’s time for the cleanup and onto our last 2 meets for the speedway season.
