YASS JUNIOR SQUASH - TERM 3 2026
When: Tuesdays, 6pm-7pm
Dates: 28 July – 15 September (Weeks 2–9 of Term 3)
Where: Yass Squash Courts, Yass Soldiers Club
Who: Kids aged 6–16
Cost: $80 per child, $40 for additional siblings

Yass Squash Club plays out of of the Yass Soldiers Club located at 86 Meehan Street, Yass NSW. 2 Courts are located in the club.

Our Kids Come & Try Day is happening tomorrow across Woden, Dickson and Yass and we’re excited to welcome lots of new families to squash!

If your child has never tried squash before, this is the perfect chance. It’s free, fun, beginner‑friendly, and all equipment is provided.

Primary School Kids: 10:00am – 11:00am

High School & College Kids: 11:30am – 12:30pm

🎉 Term 2 Juniors wrapped up last night!

This was the first junior squash program in Yass at the courts located in the Yass Soldiers Club in over two years, and it was fantastic to see kids back on court and loving the game again.

Over the 8 week program the improvement has been huge, every child finished the term able to play a proper game of squash, such an awesome effort from all of them.

We’ll be back for Term 3, with both 5pm and 6pm Tuesday groups running for another 8 week block starting Tuesday 28 July.

Congratulations to Yass's own Bonnie Luckie who was part of the winning ACT Region Junior Squash Team on the weekend at the 2026 Green Shield Squash tournament that was held in Parkes/Forbes NSW. Bonnie was part of the winning under 11 and 13 girls teams.

Also a big thank you to Yass coaches Tobey Smith and Lisa Matthews who also attended as coaches of the ACT Region team.

The Yass courts will be unvailable during the day this week due to the side and back walls being painted on the courts.

The courts will still be available between 5pm and 10pm this week to use.
