Dalriaida Park is a supportive riding school in Yass NSW, offering lessons for kids and adults on our safe school horses or your own.

We teach a range of disciplines for all levels of riders, with on‑property lease options available.

We’ll be running our Tuesday school holiday sessions with two options:

🐴 15-minute pony ride – $20
A fun little introduction to riding for our younger horse lovers (on -lead, with our instructors)

🐎 30-minute private riding lesson – $60
Perfect if you’d like a little more time in the saddle.

And the best part… you can make your own group! 🥰 Grab a few friends, cousins or family members and come along together for some horsey fun.

Time: AM + PM sessions available

Looking for a simple, fun and safe school holiday activity?

Our Spring Holiday Pony Days offer two ways to enjoy time in the saddle — a fun 15-minute pony ride or a 30-minute private lesson for riders wanting a little more time to learn, practise and enjoy their ride.

✨ 15-MINUTE PONY RIDE
🐴 $20 per rider
🏇 15-minute lead-line ride in our enclosed arena
👧 Suitable for children aged 3 years and over
🪮 Optional brushing time after the ride
📸 Plenty of photo opportunities

Perfect for young riders, beginners or children who simply want to have a fun experience on a pony or horse.

✨ 30-MINUTE PRIVATE LESSON
🐴 $40 per rider
🌱 A great option for riders who would like a little more time in the saddle to learn, practise and enjoy their ride.

Maggot has a very important question! ✨🐴

We’re thinking about running a Miniature Horses & Ponies Event… but before anything is planned, we’re simply gauging interest (all ages and abilities welcome)🥰

Miniature horses and ponies are so much more than cute faces, they’re clever, versatile, and full of personality and we’d love to show you what they can do!

You’d be able to:
🐴 Learn about miniature horses & ponies
🎓 See what they can be trained to do
✨ Discover how versatile they really are
💗 Meet and interact with some minis
👋 And of course… say hello to the sweetest boy Maggot, who will be overseeing the grounds and keeping an eye on his tiny friends 😂

🐴 Creating special family memories at Dalriada this afternoon 🥹❤️

There’s nothing quite like sharing a milestone together, and this lovely mum and daughter enjoyed their very first ride side-by-side. Gryffyn and Tinkerbell were absolute sweethearts taking care of them, with Bronwen guiding the way as instructor.
We love bringing parents and kids together to share moments like this and create memories that last a lifetime. 💛

Ages: 7–18

Who else is obsessed with minis? We certainly are! 🐴❤️

They might be tiny, but miniature horses are versatile, brave, hilarious and absolutely full of personality! And no… they’re definitely not just hairy-hoofed dogs. 😉😂

Bronwen and Lizzie love showing off just how much these little horses can do — from in-hand work and showing to harness and driving.

And the best part? Miniature horses can make equestrian activities accessible to so many people. They’re certainly not just for kids! ❤️

At Dalriaida Park, we love helping our riders discover the skills, confidence and fun that comes with working with these incredible little horses.
