What a fantastic way to wrap up March! 🎉

The Yass Valley Triathlon Club had an incredible time competing at the Huskinson Triathlon, with our athletes taking on the swim, bike, and run with determination, teamwork, and plenty of club spirit. From first-timers to seasoned competitors, everyone gave it their all and represented Yass Valley with pride.

A huge congratulations to all who raced, supported, and cheered on the day — your energy and encouragement make this club so special. Bring on the next challenge!

Huge congratulations to our incredible President on completing the T100 event on the Gold Coast this weekend! 🌊🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

What an achievement. Events like this demand not just physical endurance, but months (and years) of early mornings, long sessions, and unwavering commitment. The dedication it takes is nothing short of phenomenal—and she has shown every bit of it.

Beyond the race, she inspires us every single day. A mum, working full-time and the heart of our club—she somehow balances it all while always putting others first. Her kindness, generosity, and genuine care for everyone around her are what truly make her special.

We are so proud to have such a passionate, strong, and selfless leader guiding our community. You’ve shown us what’s possible with hard work and heart, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Today the spotlight is firmly on one of the people who is usually behind the camera for our club – the wonderful Trisha Morrison.

Trisha is the Yass Valley Triathlon Club committee member who is normally the one capturing all the brilliant photos and videos of everyone else out there racing, training and celebrating. She’s also one of the biggest cheerleaders for the Galahs, always encouraging, supporting and showcasing the achievements of others.

But today the camera turned the other way.

At the Triathlon Pink event at Stromlo Forest Park in Canberra, Trisha was out there racing herself as the sole Yass Galah on the start line. And true to form, she absolutely smashed it finishing with that trademark smile.

It was fantastic to see Trisha out there doing what she so often supports others to do. Today we were all cheering for you!

Well done, Trisha, the Galahs are proud! 💖

This morning our Galahs had the absolute privilege of riding alongside Tommy Quick — an incredible childhood stroke survivor, motivational speaker and endurance athlete.

Tommy had a life-changing stroke at just 12 years old. Since then, he’s refused to let that define him — becoming a qualified personal trainer, riding thousands of kilometres across Australia on his recumbent trike, and raising awareness for stroke and disability inclusion through his work with the Stroke Foundation.

His grit, positivity and determination are next level. 🚴‍♂️🔥

We’re proud that our Galahs could roll out with him this morning, share some k’s, and support the message that stroke can happen at any age — and that resilience is powerful.

Thanks for the inspiration, Tommy. You reminded us all why we ride. 💛🩷

The Yass Valley Galahs are sitting #1 on the Hume League Round 3 ladder — and it’s no accident. Every early morning session, every tough interval, every cheer from the sidelines… it all adds up.

Our commitment, our consistency, and the way we show up for each other is shining through in the scoring. This isn’t just points on a board — it’s dedication, teamwork and heart.

So much love for this incredible club and the community behind it. 🫶
