Coming to Yarroweyah Hall πŸ•

We're incredibly grateful to the Rotary Clubs of Numurkah and Albury North for generously organising and Donating two Mental Health Workshops at the Yarroweyah Memorial Hall this Friday (8th May) and Saturday (9th May).

These sessions are designed to raise awareness, recognising signs and providing support for responders and community members who may be experiencing trauma from recent fire events.

These workshops are free to attend, so if you or someone you know may benefit from attending, please reserve a spot by scanning the QR code in the image below.

Please note: Friday's session is now fully booked, but there are still places available for Saturday.

As we approach the end of the Fire Danger Period on March 30, it’s important to remember that conditions are still quite dry across our region.

If you’re planning on having a bonfire or burnoff, please remain vigilant. Make sure you have water on hand, keep a close eye on your fire at all times, and take the time to register your burn.

A quick registration can help avoid unnecessary emergency call outs and ensure our volunteers are available where they’re truly needed.

This is also a great time to start thinking ahead to the cooler months, consider getting your wood fire heaters cleaned and serviced so you’re ready for winter.
