The Sutherland Shire Smallbore Rifle Club was again well represented at the NSWSARAI 50M Prone and 50M Bench State Championships at the Sydney International Sports Centre today. The events were run on electronic targets with 60 scoring shots. Once again, our club President Darren Newton flew the Sutherland Shire Small Bore Rifle Club flag at the Western Sydney Rifle Spring shoot today. Light but tricky winds made the day challenging but still lots of fun. I recommend this competition to all shooting this discipline, this is the second of these events i have attended recently and both had a very friendly atomophere and were well managed events.
Did the trifector today, 1st in Heavy rifle, 1st in Light rifle and overall 1st place in the 2 gun comp and to top it off won $100 in the rafle😁. Look forward to competing again at Western Sydney.
