If you miss hockey and ready to get back into it. Or you’re wanting to get into a sport, or you’re keen to make some friends 🤞🧚🏽‍♀️✨ well look no further. The RMIT Hockey club is back and we want you 🫵🫶

Whether you’re an experienced player or you’ve never even held a hockey stick - we are the club for you 🫡

Take a look through our events from last year, we are a fun and inclusive club, we know how to have a little boogie and a *couple* of 🥂 and take out the aggression on the field (respectfully) 🙂‍↕️

We have spots open for all positions! We’d also loveeeee some interest from goalies for the women’s team 🔍😉

We have partnered with Hockey Victoria and Study Melbourne to deliver this super fun program for the WHOLE of September. So get your running shoes on and get ready for FOUR WEEKS of HOCKEY FUN!

For every Wednesday evening in September from 6:30-8pm we will be running hockey sessions to introduce you to the sport and more importantly make friends (and free food 👀).

What a weekend! 💥

First up, Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mums in our lives, and love to anyone who finds today tough. We see you. 💗

Big congrats to our Players of the Match — Elise, Delfi & Corinne from RMIT — for their standout performances! 🏅👏

This round was all about celebrating women and girls in sport — recognising their strength, passion, and the role they play in our community. We’re also proud to be supporting the Breast Cancer Network Australia 💖

Inspired by the Change Our Game initiative, we’re backing more visibility, support, and opportunities for women in every corner of hockey — playing, coaching, umpiring and beyond. It’s getting harder to recruit and retain female officials, so we’re running an umpiring workshop to help change that. Everyone’s welcome, but we especially encourage our female players to get involved! 🚨

And a huge shoutout to our men’s team who showed up loud to support the women’s matches, that’s what club culture is all about. ❤️🖤

Here’s to making sport more inclusive, more visible, and more powerful for everyone.

🚨ATTENTION ALL CURRENT RMIT STUDENTS🚨
Do you play hockey? Love meeting new people and having fun? Are keen for a week on the Gold Coast? If so, we want YOU! 🏑☀️🎉
RMIT University is currently on the search for talented men’s and women’s players to trial for our 2025 Uni Sports Nationals teams. Please DM us or comment for more info ASAP, as while we’re still a while off the tournament, teams must be finalised shortly!
Anyone who has previously attended can vouch for how fun the experience is, not only in terms of hockey but also making new friends and having fun. 🍻🏆👏
Please note that trialing by no means commits you to the tournament, and you’re under no obligations until you have made payment to lock in. If unsure on whether you want/can attend, it’s in your best interest to trial and then withdraw later down the track if required, to give yourself the option!

Hey 😋
Can’t believe it’s that time of the year again and winter hockey is just around the corner. Our preseason training starts on Wednesdays 12th of March 6:30pm at Essendon (📍1 Hockey Lane, Ascot Vale).

But before that, we do have more information for all new and returning members. Our fees and registration information pack is now available and all links to relevant websites for payments can be found on our page. Link will be in our bio. Please make a note of all information and the dates.

Feel free to send us a DM or me (Corinne San Gabriel on Facebook) if you have an other questions or if you need to set up a payment arrangement.

Side note: the fees will increase on the 26th of April and a further increase on the 9th of May! So get the best out of the current fees while they’re at their lowest 🤞

We are SO back - A friendly reminder that preseason training officially kicks off 2 WEEKS FROM TODAY🥳

📍Starting on March 12th, you can find us at training 6:30pm Wednesdays at Essendon Hockey Club (1 Hockey Ln, Ascot Vale) 🏑
Each week after training the club heads out for (optional!) a social dinner - relaxed vibes, cheap eats AND a great way to get to know everyone. Keep an eye on our story for weekly updates as to where we’ll be heading...
