🎉 EVEN MORE MILESTONES FOR THE BULLDOGS! 🎉

This weekend we celebrate two more incredible junior milestones, with Lennox Evans and Tannah Knox both reaching 100 junior games! 👏💯

Lennox Evans – 100 Junior Games
Lennox has been a cornerstone of our junior program for many years, establishing himself as a reliable and courageous goalkeeper who is always willing to put his body on the line for his teammates. Now a key member of our U16s and U18s sides, his determination, resilience and calm presence in goals have made him an invaluable Bulldog. Congratulations on reaching 100 junior games, Lennox – a fantastic achievement and one you should be incredibly proud of!

Tannah Knox – 100 Junior Games
Tannah has been a standout player throughout her junior career, excelling as a midfielder in the draw. Her athleticism, competitiveness and work ethic have made her a driving force in our U17s team, and her passion for the game has a lasting impact on those around her.

Congratulations to both Lennox and Tannah on this wonderful achievement. Here's to many more games in the green and white!

SENIOR WEEKEND FIXTURE 🔥

It's a huge weekend for the Bulldogs! Most of our Men's teams are away, but we have SL Men hosting Altona at home, while all Women's teams are at home as we celebrate Pride Round.

We're also celebrating club legend Sarah Mollison's 300th senior game on Saturday (note changed from Sunday) at 3pm.

This SATURDAY Footscray Lacrosse Club celebrates Sarah Mollison reaching the remarkable milestone of 300 senior games in the green and white!

Sarah’s contribution to Footscray spans more than 30 years. Throughout that time she has been a constant presence in the Bulldogs line-up, helping drive the success of the club while establishing herself as one of Footscray’s most decorated players.

Her achievements have also extended beyond club level. Sarah has been selected in 10 Australian campaigns, beginning with the 2003 U19 World Championship and including six Senior Field World Championships, highlighted by gold in 2005, silver in 2009 and bronze in 2013. She also represented Australia at the World Games, winning bronze medals in 2017 and 2022, and was selected in the inaugural Australian Women’s Box Lacrosse Team before an ACL injury prevented her from competing.

At national level, Sarah has been a key contributor to Victoria’s success, helping secure eight National Championship titles since 2013 and earning Tournament MVP honours at the 2022 Australian Senior Women’s Championship.

Alongside her playing career, Sarah has consistently contributed as a coach, mentor and leader, supporting generations of Bulldogs who have come through the club.

300 senior games. 11 Club Best & Fairest awards. 7 State League Premierships. 8 National Championships. 10 Australian campaigns.

An extraordinary record and a fitting tribute to one of Footscray’s most accomplished players.

Today we celebrate three incredible milestones across our club. Congratulations to Aston Cliffe and Flynn Blackley on reaching 100 junior games, and Jordan Aldren on playing his 150th senior game! 👏

Aston Cliffe – 100 Junior Games
Aston's journey to 100 junior games is a testament to his dedication, resilience, and love for the sport. A consistent contributor on and off the field, Aston has grown into an important member of our junior ranks and embodies the spirit of Footscray Lacrosse Club. Well done on this fantastic achievement, Aston!

Flynn Blackley – 100 Junior Games
Flynn has been a valued member of the Bulldogs family for many years, bringing determination, skill, and a fantastic attitude to every training session and game day. His commitment to improving his game and supporting his teammates has made him a respected player and role model within our junior program. Congratulations on an outstanding 100 games, Flynn!

Jordan Aldren – 150 Senior Games
Reaching 150 senior games is an incredible accomplishment, and Jordan has earned every one of them. A big weekend ahead for our senior Bulldogs!

💚 Our Men's teams will be at home looking to make the most of home-ground advantage.

🤍 Our Women's teams will travel to Newport for Melli's Round, a day dedicated to remembering Sue Sofarnos and recognising the lasting impact she had on women's lacrosse and our wider community.

Whether you're playing, supporting, or volunteering, we look forward to seeing plenty of Bulldogs colours around the grounds this weekend.

Congratulations to our 13 FLC representatives on an incredible week of lacrosse at the 2026 Senior National Championships! 🥍

Our men’s team finished the tournament in 3rd place, while the women’s team—featuring 10 FLC players—claimed the 2026 National Championship with a dominant 17–6 victory.

A special congratulations to Georgia Latch, who was named Match MVP for her outstanding performance in the final.

We’re incredibly proud of all our athletes for representing FLC at the highest level and showcasing their talent on the national stage. 💚🤍
