Full time opportunities have arisen elsewhere which means I no longer have the capacity to run weekly sessions.

Our Academy Kids went on a scavenger hunt to break up all the intensity of team sport throughout our Holiday Program. It's a great excuse to get outside and into the fresh air after a few hours in the stadium. Some of the items on the list are rather ambiguous and encourages them to think outside of the box. It was so awesome to hear all of the collaboration and conversations happening as they tried to tick off all the things on their list!

We are getting excited for our school holiday program tomorrow!

After our introduction and warm-ups our kids will break up into two teams and use all of the equipment to make an obstacle course for each other. As a team, they will demonstrate their created course help the others through it.

We love how this activity empowers our kids in their leadership and communications skills, coaching team-work and critical thinking skills, but its also just a fun way to start the day getting to know each other!

We cant wait to see you there!

At The Academy we utilise our snack break to sit down and spend some time reflecting on the skills we have practised in our sessions. We use a worksheet to help us unpack how we can use them in our every-day lives. It also helps us to positively frame our kids efforts in our session, build relationships, practise social skills and much more! 📝
