Hear from Club President Luke Bartlett as he spoke briefly on the history of the Yankalilla Cricket Club at today’s event celebrating 100 years of the Yankalilla Memorial Park.

It was a fantastic afternoon recognising the incredible history, community spirit, and memories that have helped shape the park and local sporting clubs over the past century. 🏏

Then join us for Afternoon Tea at the Yankalilla Bowling Club, 2pm to 4pm for presentation of park history, trips down memory lane from all the sporting clubs and memorabilia display.

Congratulations to all our award winners from the 2025/26 season!
It was a fantastic afternoon celebrating at the beautiful Allusion Farmstay and Vineyard!

A big thank you to the Whittlesea family for generously donating a lamb and to TJ for the amazing food.

📜 A look back at our history…

Came across this fantastic article from 1984 highlighting the Bungala Cricket Team, premiers in 1938/39.

It’s a great reminder of just how deep cricket runs in our community — through tough times like the Great Depression, club name changes and everything in between.

The Yankalilla Cricket Club we know today has been shaped by generations of players, volunteers and supporters 💛🖤
