**Lost/Stolen Hockey Bag**

An U17s hockey bag has been lost or possibly stolen after being left at VHHC.

Inside the bag is all brand-new hockey gear, making it a significant loss for the player and their family.

The bag is black and gold and contains a navy-blue Princess stick, Asics shoes, a Yankalilla top, and Goolwa socks.

If anyone has seen the bag or has any information about its whereabouts, please contact us as soon as possible.

We would appreciate everyone keeping an eye out and checking any areas where it may have been moved or misplaced.

🏑Field Update 🏑

While we were hoping to hold our first home games on 20 June, the decision has been made to reschedule this game to give the grass the best chance of recovery and growth.

As a result, all games on 20 June will now be played at Victor Harbor.

A special thank you to our Grounds Committee for all of their hard work in getting our fields looking great. We’re getting close — just a little more growth and we’ll be back out there scoring goals! 🌱

Well done to all of our teams this weekend! Great to see everyone getting goals on the scoreboard 💛🖤

A special shout out to our women’s teams who put on a fantastic game for the Tiger Tussle. It was great to see the teamwork, sportsmanship, and club morale on display throughout the game.

How amazing is it to see such a strong women’s contingent in our club! 🙌

There are no games or training this week — enjoy the long weekend.

🏑🐯 Thank You Tigers 🐯🏑

A huge thank you to all the club members who turned up today to help give the club rooms a tidy up ahead of our first home games for 2026 in a few weeks.

We really appreciate the time and effort everyone puts in to helping make our club awesome 💛🖤

Many hands make light work — thank you to everyone who helped out today!

We can’t wait to show off our new favourite spot under the verandah to watch the game in a couple of weeks 👏

This year Quiz night falls on our Pink Round so it’s time to dress to impress 💕

A special highlight this week will be our first Yank vs Yank “Tiger Tussle” for the women — something we’re incredibly excited to see!

Just a friendly reminder to all parents, families and supporters attending junior hockey games. While we absolutely encourage you to capture special moments of your own children enjoying hockey, please be mindful when taking photos that other children may also appear in the background.
Across our association, some families have requested that their children’s images not be photographed or shared publicly. We kindly ask everyone to respect these privacy requirements by checking photos carefully before posting them on social media or sharing them more broadly.
Thank you for helping us keep our hockey community safe, respectful and inclusive for all families.

Photo Guidelines – Do’s & Don’ts
DO:
• Take photos of your own children and loved ones enjoying hockey
• Ask permission from parents/carers before photographing other children
• Speak with coaches or team managers if you are unsure about photo permissions
• Be mindful of who appears in the background of your photos
• Respect requests from families regarding photography and social media sharing
DON’T:
• Take close-up or individual photos of other children without permission
• Post photos of children other than your own on social media without consent
• Share team photos publicly if you are unsure whether all children have media permission
• Assume all families are comfortable with photos being taken or shared
